The CO2 Foundation followed up its support for the Climate Adaptation for Tribal Nations in Wisconsin summit with additional funds for keynote speaker Dr. Kyle Whyte and broader Indigenous and Tribal engagement at the November 2024 Climate Fast Forward conference.
Climate Fast Forward is a statewide climate change action conference in Wisconsin that covers a wide range of climate change impacts and solutions; the 2024 conference was the third of its kind. The Wisconsin Academy team just made public its Climate Fast Forward – Post Conference Summary, part of its collection of Climate Fast Forward 2024 Resources.
For two days in Rothschild, Wisconsin, Climate Fast Forward 2024 brought together changemakers, including seasoned professionals, new voices, and diverse audiences representative of the Wisconsin people who are and will continue to be most impacted by the effects of climate change. Attendees attended skills-based workshops, participated in collaborative spaces, heard from engaging plenary speakers, and engaged with an interactive poetry project.
Some of the sessions were recorded, and can be accessed here:
